After the Turn or Fourth Street is completed the dealer once again discards the top burn card. The dealer than deals one card that is once again placed face up in the community. This commonly referred to as “The River Card”. The River is the last card to be dealt to the community cards.
After the river card is dealt, each player who remains in the hand make another round of bets. Once again the betting always begins with the player to the left of the dealer. And once again players can either check, call, raise, re-raise or fold according their turn. Once completed, the player with the strongest hand wins. However, in a number of cases, players will fold their hands. In the event of this happening, the player who wins the hand is not obliged to show their cards. |
