The Turn Card

After the flop, the dealer again discards the top card of the deck. Once the top card has been burnt, the dealer then deals one card that is placed face up on the table – within the community cards. This is known card is known as the Turn card or more commonly "Fourth Street".

After the turn card has been dealt, the players remaining in the hand make another round of bets. Again the betting always begins with the player to the left of the dealer (the button). Players can either check, call, raise, re-raise or fold according their turn to bet. Once this sequence has been completed, it's time to deal the fifth and final card or other wise known as to "go down to the river."
